The chemical park is a specialized high-end chemical park with chemical auxiliaries as the leading industry, with a planned starting area of nearly 5 square kilometers, and its industrial clusters are based on electronic chemical auxiliaries, textile auxiliaries, construction chemical auxiliaries, etc. The Chemical Industry Park Office commissioned REC to carry out the Environmental Impact Assessment project.

- The REC team investigates the production and ecological conditions of the companies that have moved into the park and identifies ecological problems in the park.
- The team provides environmental information needed for park planning. REC determines environmental quality needs and resource utilization by studying the regional ecological protection red line and ecological space.
- The team analyzes ecological and environmental problems and causes. Study the main resource, ecological and environmental constraints, and predict and evaluate the impact of planning implementation on regional and watershed ecosystems and environmental quality.
- The team analyzes whether the requirements of the red line of ecological protection, the bottom line of environmental quality, and resource utilization can be met after the implementation of the plan, and with the goal of improving environmental quality and guaranteeing ecological security, demonstrates the environmental rationality and environmental benefits of the planning scheme, and puts forward suggestions for optimization and adjustment of the plan.
Finally, REC clarifies the mitigation measures for adverse environmental impacts, puts forward ecological environmental protection suggestions and control requirements, and provides a basis for planning decisions and environmental management during planning implementation.

- The most prominent contradiction in the development plan of the park lies in the narrow scope of industrial positioning, which greatly restricts the space for its subsequent development.
- The REC team cooperated with process and planning experts and local government, and proposed that the subsequent development of the park focuses on designing and integrating the industrial chain, value chain and innovation chain.
